- ¾ cup water
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar, with the mother culture
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1/3 cup yellow mustard seeds
- 2 cloves garlic
Bring water, vinegar, salt, pepper, turmeric powder, and mustard seeds to a pan to boil.
Cook for 20 minutes until the seeds become tender.
Turn off the heat and allow them to cool at room temperature.
Add in the garlic cloves.
Transfer to a glass jar. Store in the refrigerator.
Stays fresh for 2 months.
Use it as a condiment or add it to salads or stir fry.
