My Journey
We are what we eat! I`ve had an extensive work experience in Clinical set ups. I feel, rise in illnesses can be dealt with only changing the lifestyle- simple! Its not only food, its also the environment you live in, the sleep, activity equally plays a role in building good health. I enjoy the ongoing learning in the field of nutrition which is continuously evolving. I am a great listener which helps me understand my client more and connect with them. I like to educate, regularly bust nutrition myths, shine light on the truth behind spurious nutrition claims, and help people to balance eating for both pleasure and health. Balance is the Key! This is what I find most rewarding, and what I strive to do every day. Healing people inside out !

What my clients say about me
No words can explain my gratitude to Komal Mehta, I had been given a minor CKD verdict and put on a small dosage of blood pressure medicine. I have always been a massive foodie and ate everything under the sun. Fast forward to 2019 (I’m 50 years of age now) and my creatinine levels reached 1.74 and eGFR 44, which is when I decided to take action. The first thing Komal mentioned was that I start on a “vegan” diet. As a meat lover, I must admit this was an even bigger shock than the medical markers. Here, by the grace of the Almighty, constant support from Luke’s team (must mention that Komal is like my guardian angel), family, friends and colleagues, we’ve turned it around. I constantly caution myself though, that this is a journey, which has just begun and intend to continue as long as I live.
We signed on for the program a month after diagnosis and down 1 chemo cycle. Luckily, the journey had been smooth so far with minimal side effects. One may think, then what was the need for a Nutritionist if all were going well. Something we misunderstand today, allopathy helps treat the symptoms while right nutrition and lifestyle helps eradicate it from the root cause. In cases of cancer, it is not just the dogma of being diagnosed and treated, but so important to stay in remission to avoid any recurrence and that’s where the team stepped in to make sure everything is done naturally without inducing the body with more chemicals. This experience has been beyond nutrition, beyond mindfulness, it has been a change in perspective not just for the person undergoing treatment but for the entire family to adopt.
I would like to thank Komal and her team from the bottom of my heart for bringing me back to my normal life. I am now able to eat almost all the food except dairy products, sugars and gluten rich foods. I am very grateful to have Komal as my nutrition and still continuing my journey with her. I am extremely happy and grateful to Luke’s team. Thanks so much Komal, Luke and the team. Your team is awesome
