Our focus will be to help you lose inches, because true weight loss is how much fat percentage have you dropped and lean muscle have you gained. We will deep dive into your lifestyle and what was going on in your life when you started gaining weight to find the root cause. Based on this we will design a lifestyle plan that can help your body reduce the gained weight in a healthy, holistic and sustainable way. How many inches will you lose by the end of your program? No one can say, because it depends on so many factors but we will put in our best care, knowledge, coaching and experience to help you reach your goals.
Your weight loss, rather than fat loss, depends on several factors, like - age, activity levels, metabolism, digestive health, mindset, environment, root cause, your internal and external environment, and so much more. No one can predict the number of inches you will drop in one month, and our program isn't selling a promise, magic pill or cure. However, we put in all our expertise, care and knowledge into this program to help you lose the extra fat in the most healthy, realistic and sustainable way possible. As a part of the program, you will get two personalized food plans and one rejuvenation protocol every month. So for a three-month program, you can expect six food plans and three rejuvenation protocols. However, the number of plans may differ based on one's needs/requirements.
The You Care Weight Management program doesn’t cover any disease (lifestyle or genetic). This program is purely focused on fat loss or weight gain.

Here are a couple of differences:

1. The You Care Wellness Program is designed to handle lifestyle conditions and diseases, while the You Care Weight Management program isn’t.

2. The coaching support on the You Care Wellness Program is from Monday to Friday, whereas for the You Care Weight Management program it’s only available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

If you have attained a weight plateau or have stubborn fat which is very hard to lose, our nutritionist would want to investigate further through tests and understanding your lifestyle history. It’s important to break it down to the root cause and address accordingly or guide on the way forward accordingly. In the investigation process, not just your nutrition, but also your emotions, childhood, sleep quality, activity and movement levels will be assessed to give a holistic understanding.

Additionally, if during the investigation our integrative team finds out that the root cause for not losing weight is related to an underlying health condition (eg: hormonal imbalance, insulin resistance, or metabolic syndrome), then our team will encourage you to be under a program that best addresses the root cause.

There will be no one-on-one involvement by Luke in this program, however every case is discussed in depth with Luke and the integrative team and he is kept informed about the progress on a regular basis. Also, the integrative team is personally trained by Luke to handle your case.
While designing food plans, we keep in mind that the total calorific value of the food you eat in a day should be proportional to what you burn (calorie in vs. calorie out) for effective fat loss. However, we needn't go into the details of counting every calorie you eat. This is because we believe fat loss is much more than calorie counting. Your metabolism, activity levels, emotional health, and sleep quality - also play more significant roles than calories.
You will be coached on movement and activity, as it is one of our pillars of holistic health. The nutritionist will encourage and help you build this pillar into your lifestyle and help you find a schedule that works for you. However, for specific exercise and fitness coaching, getting a professional fitness trainer or exercise coach is best.

No, you do not need to have these. It is good to have information that can be shared with your nutritionist. Just that it isn't an accurate measure to gauge your progress.

At You Care, we believe that weight loss isn't just about losing weight but specifically losing fat percentage (while also retaining your muscle, water weight and other body components). So, when there is a drop in fat percentage, we see it in a loss of inches (for example - your waist size). Loss of inches means your BMI (body mass index) is also improving.

A detailed measurement of your hips, arms, chest, and thighs and a front and side profile image is one of the requirements by our nutritionist during the start of the program. These measurements will then be tracked every 15-20 days to measure the inch loss month on month. Besides this, how your old clothes fit, clothing sizes you drop, and changes in body-mass composition (fat %) are good ways to gauge your progress.
Yes, the nutritionist will guide you on pre and post-workout meals/snacks based on what suits your needs, workout type, requirements, and goals.

  • We do not believe in strict food charts, deprivation, and calorie counting. We coach and empower you with essential skills like eating right, mindfulness, portion control, and listening to your body.
