I am an international board-certified lactation consultant with vast experience in helping new mothers achieve their infant feeding goals and overcome breastfeeding challenges.
After completing my M.B.B.S. from Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, I became a Certified Childbirth Educator and designed the FIT FOR BIRTH program. I joined BPNI Maharashtra, became a mother support group counsellor, and later a trainer in advanced lactation management. As a leader for La Leche League International, I certified as an IBCLC in 2009. Since then, I’ve worked as a Lactation Consultant at renowned hospitals in Mumbai and now run my own clinic, FITFORBIRTH, in Powai, Mumbai. I specialize in addressing oral and sucking issues related to tongue tie, induced lactation, and clinical lactation. I’ve supported hundreds of families worldwide.
