1. Who is Luke Coutinho?
Luke Coutinho is a pioneer of Lifestyle as Foundational Medicine, with over 14 years of experience helping people address the root causes of illness through a more holistic, sustainable approach to health. He is also a Wellness Champion for the Hon. Prime Minister’s Fit India Movement and has been chosen to contribute to national initiatives around obesity, diabetes, and lifestyle education.

Luke Coutinho Holistic Healing Systems is rooted in Lifestyle as Foundational Medicine, an approach that focuses on strengthening the body’s core foundations so care, recovery, and long-term well-being can be better supported.
Through nutrition, movement, sleep, emotional wellness, breathwork, and personalized guidance, our multidisciplinary team helps individuals, families, and communities take a more practical, preventive, and foundations-first approach to health. 3. What are the Services offered by Team Luke?
Team Luke offers a range of services rooted in our six non-negotiable pillars of lifestyle as Foundational Medicine. These include one-on-one consultations, personalized wellness programs, corporate wellness programs, corporate talks and webinars, educational courses and workshops, and wider community-led preventive health initiatives.
Whether the need is individual care, long-term lifestyle support, workplace wellness, or health education at scale, our approach remains practical, personalized, and focused on strengthening the body’s foundations.
4. What is Foundational Medicine?
Foundational Medicine is the philosophy at the heart of all our programs. It is based on a simple truth: no treatment, supplement, protocol, or plan can work at its full potential if the body’s foundations are weak.
No matter which path you follow, whether Allopathy, Ayurveda, homeopathy, naturopathy, nutrition, or fitness, outcomes are influenced not just by the intervention itself, but by how well the body is prepared to respond. Foundational Medicine focuses on restoring balance and supporting the body through six non-negotiable pillars of lifestyle: Food Science & Nutrient Synergy, Adequate Holistic Movement, Deep Sleep, Emotional Wellness & Mental Health, Nature: Your Internal & External Environment, and Spirit & Breathwork.
It does not replace existing treatment. It works alongside it, helping strengthen the body’s foundations for prevention, recovery, and long-term well-being
5. What kinds of support, programs, and resources do you offer?

Consultation
1. How long does the consultation typically last?
Our consultations usually last between 20 to 25 minutes or more in the case of certain experts.
2. What are the available modes of consultation?
We offer two modes of consultation for your convenience:
A. Virtual Consultation: You can have a consultation with us online, from the comfort of your own space, using video conferencing or other virtual communication platforms.
B. In-person Consultation: If you prefer face-to-face interaction, we also provide the option for in-person consultations at a suitable location decided by the team. Please reach our team at [email protected]
3. What do I need to prepare for the consultation?
Please upload your medical reports and complete your personal details form at least 48 hours before your consultation. This will ensure that Luke and the team have enough time to review your case and provide you with the best, personalized guidance. If you are unable to meet this deadline, we request you to still upload the documents and keep them handy during your session.
4. How do I prepare for a face-to-face consultation?
When preparing for a face-to-face consultation, you only need to bring your medical documents like scans or X-rays if available. Rest assured, Luke and the team will have the details you provided, if they were submitted at least 24 hours before your appointment.
We request that you refrain from wearing makeup to help us observe and understand your natural skin more accurately for more personalized, effective recommendations.
5. What is a PDMR, and why is it required?
A PDMR (Personal Details Medical Records) is essential before your consultation. It gives us a comprehensive understanding of your health and ensures our recommendations are precise and personalized to your needs.
6. When will my consultation slot be confirmed?
We will get back to you with the earliest slot available.
7. How long will my consultation with Luke be?
Consultation times may vary depending on your case, typically ranging between 20 to 25 minutes.
8. What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
If you’re unable to attend your consultation, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance so we can reschedule. You can write to us at [email protected], and we will be happy to assist you.
9. What happens if I miss my appointment?
In the event of a ‘No-show’ without prior notice or a cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment, unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer a refund or reschedule. A new paid consultation needs to be booked.
10. What sets Team Luke's consultations apart from others?

11. Can I get a GST bill?
Yes. If you require a GST bill, please provide your invoicing details during checkout, and we will send it to you within 2 to 3 working days.
12. What happens after my consultation?
Based on your medical reports and consultation, we may suggest additional sessions if required or a personalized program tailored to your health goals. If long-term care is required, we’ll recommend a program offering ongoing expert guidance and support.
13. Would it be possible to book both a consultation and a program?
Absolutely! You can book both a consultation and a program with us. Our healthcare program advisor will be happy to assist you throughout the process and guide you accordingly. Feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll help you get started on your journey toward better health and wellness.
14. Can I book a follow-up consultation?
The need for a follow-up consultation depends on your individual health conditions and goals. If your health conditions require continuous monitoring and support, we would encourage you to join our personalized program that can offer complete handholding. If it can be managed independently without support, your expert may recommend booking a follow-up consultation accordingly. This will allow you to stay on track with your progress and make any necessary adjustments as needed.
15. What to expect in a consultation?
You will receive personalized guidance from your chosen experts, ranging from life coaches, nutritionists, fitness and yoga specialists, emotional health counselors, doctors, lactation experts, and hypnotherapists. During the consultation, our integrative expert will thoroughly review your medical records or information you provide, offering guidance on the next steps forward. They will aim to provide a way forward for your health during the meeting. However, if there is a medical condition, they may suggest enrolling in one of our online personalized programs. This would allow us to closely monitor and coach you throughout the program’s duration.
16. Who should book a consultation?
Anyone looking for health advice, wanting to explore the root causes of their conditions, looking to identify the most suitable program to address their specific health issues, or seeking personalized recommendations to improve their lifestyle can book a consultation.
Program
1. I'm looking to lose weight and improve my overall health.
Great! Our program focuses on the 6 pillars of lifestyle: deep cellular nutrition, adequate movement, quality sleep, emotional wellness, reconnecting with the spirit, and breath. Fat loss can be a natural benefit, but we have other Signature Programs specifically designed for Weight Management and overall Wellness if that’s your focus.
2. Do you count calories while making food plans?
While designing food plans, we keep in mind that the total calorific value of the food you eat in a day should be proportional to what you burn (calorie in versus calorie out). However, we need not go into the details of counting every calorie you eat. Your metabolism, activity levels, emotional health, and sleep quality play more significant roles than calories.
3. Will I be given exercise plans?
You will be coached on adequate movement and activity, as it is one of our pillars of holistic health. The nutritionist will encourage you to build this pillar into your lifestyle and help you find a schedule that works for you. However, for specific exercise and fitness coaching, getting a professional fitness trainer or exercise coach is best.
4. Will I receive a food plan during my consultation with Luke?
During the consultation, Luke will NOT be providing a detailed nutritional plan or protocol. His approach is holistic and long-term. Luke will analyze your case and plan a way forward based on our 6 pillars of lifestyle: deep cellular nutrition, adequate movement, quality sleep, emotional wellness, reconnection with the spirit, and breath, along with our team of integrative experts. For food plans and personalized coaching, you may avail of our tailored 3-month programs.
5. What medical tests are required before I join the program?
Before joining the program, we recommend that you undergo certain tests so that we can address the root cause of your concerns and guide you with a personalized approach to moving forward.
6. Can I join a 1-month program?
Expected changes can vary for each individual, as factors such as your current lifestyle, age, and weight play a role in how your body responds. Progress typically takes time as we focus on addressing the root cause. For effective results, a minimum of 3 months is ideal, though this timeframe may vary based on your unique response.
7. Can individuals of any age join the program?
Most of our offerings are suitable for all age groups; however, some are specifically designed to address particular needs or causes. We recommend reviewing the program details or contacting us at [email protected]; we’ll be happy to assist you.
8. Do you have a doctor on the team?
While we do not have a doctor directly involved in the program, we can provide recommendations if needed.
9. How do you plan your diet?
Our meal plans are tailored to support your health goals, incorporating nutrient-dense foods, superfoods, and detoxifying ingredients. Designed around your lifestyle and preferences, they will be regularly updated to align with your progress and needs.
10. Will I speak to a doctor?
Some of our programs include a doctor’s consultation, depending on your health condition and goals. You can continue consulting your personal doctor even after you have enrolled in our programs. Our programs are not a substitute for any medical requirement but complement your ongoing treatments. If you’d like to speak with a specific expert, you can talk to our team about it.
11. Can I stop my medicines if I join your program?
We do not recommend stopping any medicine without your doctor’s knowledge and guidance.
12. Who designs the food plans?
A qualified nutritionist will develop your personalized food plan and modify it periodically based on your needs throughout the program.
13. How often will I have contact with my Foundational Medicine Expert?
Based on the program, you will have an initial video call with a Nutritionist/Lifestyle Expert. Following, you will have regular check-ins to track your progress and address any questions or concerns.
14. Do you also help with meal planning?
We provide personalized meal plans tailored to your preferences, with easy-to-follow recipes that make meal preparation simple. Our guidelines will support you in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, even after the program.
15. Do you have wellness programs for children?
Yes. Most of our wellness programs are suitable for children. We also have the Balanced Nutrition for Children Program, especially for children.
16. Do you only help with condition management, or do you also have any wellness programs for preventative care or to improve my overall health?

17. I am based in a different time zone/ I am based outside of India. How can I join the program?
Our virtual consultations can be easily scheduled to accommodate your time zone. Once you join the program, we will work with you to find a time that is convenient for you, ensuring that we can go through everything at a pace that suits your schedule.
18. Can we repeat the program?
We do not recommend repeating the program immediately. However, you can consider being a part of our program after a gap of 3 months.
19. Can we do the program during religious fasting like Ramadan, Navratri, Lent, or other occasions?
It’s advised to avoid doing our program during the fasting period as there may limit your ability to fully follow one of the key components of our integrative approach: nutrition!
20. Can I join or continue a program if I am on holiday or traveling?
Yes, you can. We coach clients who frequently travel with tips on staying on track with your progress, whether you are on vacation or wrapping up a work project abroad. Your location is not an obstacle in your wellness journey because all our programs run online and are open to anyone across the globe to join in. Once you sign up, we offer you regular WhatsApp coaching from Monday to Saturday with pre-scheduled calls as per the program of your choice. Your food and lifestyle guidelines are shared via email.
While traveling, you may opt to put your program on hold if you feel you may be unable to follow our program and resume it once you are back.
Please note: You can place your program on hold just once while on a 3-month plan with us.
21. Can I transfer my program to a family member or a friend?
We do not offer the option of transferring your program to a family member or friend, as our programs are customized to the individual. However, you can share this experience with them through a Gift Card or by Booking a Consultation on their behalf. Our experienced integrative team will ensure they receive the personalized care and attention they deserve.
22. How is the program priced?
The pricing of our programs is based on your specific needs. We offer a variety of packages to suit your budgets, ensuring that you get the best value for your investment. Each program is personalized to address your unique requirements, with expert guidance from our experienced team. The changes made through the program provide a sustainable roadmap for long-term well-being, making your health an investment in the future.

23. What type of wellness activities are included in the program?
Although there is a diverse range of wellness activities based on the program you select, some of the wellness activities include personalized coaching, nutrition plans, mental health support, fitness and yoga sessions, and educational seminars. These activities are designed to address various aspects of well-being and can be customized to fit your needs.
24. I am worried the program might clash with my doctor’s advice.
Stay rest assured, our program is not a replacement for any advice your doctor gives you. We align with your doctor’s recommendation to address the root cause of your concerns. Our focus is on guiding you with the right foods, lifestyle adjustments, and supplements to support your holistic journey.
25. Do you recommend medications for the wellness program?
We do not prescribe any medications. However, based on your specific needs, we may recommend natural supplements to help you meet your nutritional requirements and support your overall well-being.
26. Will I be recommended supplements?
Our primary approach is to utilize food and functional foods as a source of essential nutrients. Supplements may be considered if your dietary needs cannot be met solely through food.
27. How many food plans do I get once I join the program?
The exact number of plans may vary depending on your individual needs and the specific program you select.
28. I have food preferences. Will the program work for me?
Our team of nutritionists and lifestyle experts will create a personalized plan that aligns with your preferences while guiding and supporting you toward achieving your goals. We are committed to providing expert guidance and counseling to ensure the plan suits your lifestyle.
29. How can I reach the nutritionist in case of an emergency without WhatsApp support?

30. Will there be restrictions on my diet?
Yes. Depending on your specific case, there may be recommendations to avoid certain foods such as dairy, refined sugars, processed foods, gluten, and other inflammatory ingredients. However, we will provide suitable alternatives and substitutions to ensure you do not feel deprived.
31. Will I be able to get back to my original diet when the program is over?
As you make progress, the restricted foods can eventually be reintroduced but on a trial basis only to avoid any major relapses or flare-ups. However, based on your progress, we can start introducing the restricted items back into your routine. Once you start reintroducing them, utmost care must be taken to ensure they are done in moderation.
32. Will Luke be involved in my case?
Luke may personally be involved in some of the cases, depending on their severity and the program you choose. However, every case is discussed in depth with Luke and the integrative team, and he is regularly informed about the progress. Also, the integrative team is personally trained by Luke to handle your case.
33. How is Luke’s wellness program different from the other ones?
Luke’s Wellness Program stands out by offering personalized attention and a holistic approach to overall health and well-being. Throughout the program, you’ll have two one-on-one calls per month with Luke, who will personally review and guide you in your progress. A qualified nutritionist will craft your personalized food plan, with Luke’s approval, ensuring it aligns with your unique needs. 34. How often will the food plans change?
Plans will ideally change based on progress or once in two weeks, depending on the case.
