
Dhokla–Poha–Sattu Power Plate
The Dhokla–Poha–Sattu Power Plate is the perfect solution—a simple, grounding, and nutrient-dense meal designed to fuel your body without the heavy post-meal slump. This recipe combines the lightness of fermented moong dal with the earthy strength of sattu to create a balanced "super-snack" that fits beautifully into any routine.

Method
- Soak half a cup of moong dal for four to five hours.
- Drain and blend it with a handful of soaked poha, a spoon of satu, ginger, green chili, and salt. Add a little water to make a thick batter.
- Cover and ferment for four to five hours or overnight.
- Once fermented, pour into a greased steamer plate.
- Steam for 15 minutes till it's light and fluffy.
- For tempering, heat a spoon of oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing, and turmeric. Pour it over the dhokla.
- Cut and serve with mint or amla chutney. Light, protein rich, and gut-friendly.

- For extra protein: Swap sattu with 2 tbsp of besan for a traditional texture.
- For more fiber: Replace poha with 2 tbsp of cooked millets (jowar, foxtail, or little millet) to boost iron and keep your energy stable for longer.
